Final Term in Class 1

Dear Parents/Carers

We are so proud of all the children in Class 1 and their development in their learning this year, even though they have suffered disturbances in the Spring Terms due to Covid.

This Term, the children are so excited about their new topic ‘Under the Sea’ where they cannot wait to explore life in the oceans.  We are using a range of fiction, poetry and non-fiction texts to gain information about sea creatures and how they can help look after the seas, especially looking at how to prevent plastic pollution.

Through this topic we will also embrace lots of arts and crafts as well as scientific investigations.  To find out more about the topics coverage please view the Topic plan attached.
